Everything is carried out on the premises. Items left with us are covered by our insurance, and a quotation is given before repair work starts.

Valuations

All valuations are carried out on the premises with modern equipment. Whether you need a valuation for insurance, probate or sale, we can complete it and provide a certificate.

Our charges are £10.00 for the documentation and photograph, plus 1.5% of the final value. Large valuations are by negotiation only. For probates and sales between parties, we may charge more. An appointment may be needed.

If you have inherited a classic piece and want to know what it is worth, bring it in. It helps to say whether the certificate is for insurance, for a sale, or for probate, and to bring any existing paperwork.

Our team offers a jewellery redesign service. Bring in old pieces and talk through how they can be remodelled into something completely different — a ring reset as a pendant, stones gathered into one new piece, or a design started from scratch.

For an anniversary, engagement or wedding ring we can source diamonds and gemstones in different qualities and styles to suit your budget. Stones we source are certified. Please call to make an appointment.
